If you read the title and wondering what the heck I am on about.. just read on..
I just started reading this book from Ken Schwaber [ http://www.controlchaos.com/ ]. The title of the Book is “Agile Project Management with Scrum”.

In one chapter of the book the author gives an explanation of Scrum roles (Not Rugby scrums) in Agile project management. To establish clearly what it means to take responsibility of a ScrumMaster role and what it means to get a team commited to a project, he refers to an old joke.
A chicken and a pig are walking down the road. The chicken says to the Pig, “Do you want to open an restaurant with me?” The pig considers the question and replies, “Yes, I’d like that, what do you want to call the restaurant?” The chicken replies, “Ham and Eggs”. The pig pauses stops and replies, “On second thought, I don’t think I want to open a restaurant with you. I’d be commited but you’ll only be involved.”
This example shows that to achive success in Scrum that you have to be open to who is actually on the “hook” and who’s just a “bystander”.
The book is a good read if you want to understand how Agile project managment is achieved by Scrum. Go ahead it’s at Amazon.com.
