Today is the King Kong Wellington Premiere

A perfect warm summer day in Wellington greeted the stars of King Kong. I made my way down to Courtney Place and had the deja-vu feeling that I have done this for the last three years… from the last 3 Lord of the Rings movies and today King Kong.
The cast Naomi Watts, Adrien Brody and Andy Serkis, walked the red carpet leading to the Embassy Theatre, signing autographs and chatting enthusiastically to fans and media about the movie. Director Peter Jackson quoted King Kong was a 100% Wellington movie and all shooting was done in Wellington.
Courtney place was packed with fans of all ages. I got to get on the Red Carpet after everyone went away :-).
Bring on the Halo premiere next year.
