The Wellington SharePoint User Group meeting will be held on 26th of April (Thursday) at 6PM. This month we will be featuring two real world New Zealand solutions using SharePoint.

Building a Real world Intranet with MOSS 2007 at the Ministry of Transport
Come and see how the New Zealand Ministry of Transport (MOT) implemented their new Intranet “Discover” using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. This real world case study will show case how MOT adopted MOSS for Content Management and Search.

Records Management with SharePoint and Meridio – Working towards PRA Compliance
Fujitsu will present the Electronics Documents and Records Management (EDRM) solution they have implemented at Ministry of Fisheries on the SPS 2003 platform. The solution uses ISV products like Meridio (Records management) and K2.net (Workflows). The solution is an end to end Enterprise content management (ECM) platform built on the MS SPS 2003.
Fujitsu has developed customisations to the Meridio solution which makes it compliant with the specific NZ requirements of the Public Records Act (PRA). The presentation will cover the following topics.
